A Landmark Gathering of 1,000 Church Leaders from Over 100 Nations
In October, Chiang Mai will welcome the 27th General Council of the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC) — a once-every-seven-years global assembly of faith leaders, hosted from October 14–23, 2025 across multiple venues in the city.
Organized by the WCRC and hosted locally by the Church of Christ in Thailand, this major religious assembly marks 150 years since the founding of WCRC and brings together over 1,000 delegates from 100+ countries.
Held under the theme “Persevere in Your Witness,” the Council will reflect on theological challenges, social justice missions, global unity, and the future of the Reformed church.
