Your Business
Needs to Appear
When AI Answers
When a traveller, buyer, or corporate client asks an AI assistant to recommend a hotel, café, estate, or professional service in Chiang Mai, some businesses appear in the answer. The ones that do not are not ranked lower. They are absent. CMBN Media Services makes sure yours is not one of the absent ones.

“We open ChatGPT or ThaiLLM and type in what your customers would ask. We show you exactly who appears. If it is not you, we fix that. No commitment required to see your result.”
CMBN Media Services — AI-Readiness ProgrammeSearch used to produce a list.
AI produces one answer.
For two decades, being visible online meant ranking well on Google. Businesses invested in SEO, built websites, collected reviews, and competed for position on a list of ten links. The visitor chose from that list.
That model is breaking down. AI assistants, now accessible to hundreds of millions of users globally and to five million Thai citizens through the government’s TH-AI Passport programme, respond to questions with a direct answer rather than a list. The AI names specific businesses, describes them in context, and in many cases completes the booking or enquiry on the user’s behalf.
There is no equivalent of page two in a conversational AI response. A business that does not appear in the AI’s answer is not ranked lower than its competitors. It is simply absent from the conversation.
The businesses that appear in AI recommendations were not chosen arbitrarily. They are the ones whose information is structured, verified, and present in the data sources the AI draws from. This is a technical problem with a direct fix, and it is one most Chiang Mai businesses have not yet addressed.
The TH-AI Passport programme, which opened registration on 5 June 2026, provides up to 25 AI models through a single subsidised gateway at 27 baht per user per month. Its second phase, budgeted at 900 million baht, targets a further five million users. Thailand’s domestic AI model, ThaiLLM, sits at the core of that infrastructure, gathering its knowledge of local businesses from curated domestic data pipelines rather than general web crawling.
A business that exists only as a generic web presence, without structured data and verified directory listings, is invisible to those pipelines. CMBN Media Services closes that gap through a structured methodology: audit, structure, seed, and monitor.

Google shows ten links.
AI gives one answer.
The same business. Two completely different outcomes depending on whether its data is structured for AI or not.
Four layers that put your business
inside the AI’s answer
Each layer builds on the previous one. Together they create a complete, trusted presence in the data sources that AI systems draw from when forming recommendations.
Structured Data Deployment
We install invisible code on your website that gives AI crawlers precise, unambiguous facts about your business. Not a paragraph they have to interpret. A machine-readable declaration of exactly what you are, where you are, and what you offer.
- Entity-specific JSON-LD schema markup
- Geo-coordinates and Thai-formatted address data
- SameAs attributes linking to verified external profiles
- Service and category descriptors tied to actual offerings
Brand Knowledge Dataset
We convert your brand story, property history, service philosophy, and operational detail into a structured knowledge file that AI retrieval systems can draw from directly. The AI answers about your business using your own documentation, not its inference from scattered web content.
- Property history and founding narrative
- Service descriptions at AI-retrieval depth
- Thai-language content aligned to ThaiLLM tokenisation
- Cultural register: honorifics, Lanna vocabulary, regional framing
Golden Pages Verification Signal
AI systems reduce uncertainty by cross-referencing multiple sources. A business present on its own website, the Golden Pages directory, and relevant authoritative registers, all with consistent information, gets classified as a confirmed entity. The Golden Pages dataset is one of the few human-curated, structured regional business indexes in Northern Thailand, and the BDI actively seeks verified local data of exactly this kind.
- Premium schema field completion on your listing
- Service categories mapped to AI-compatible taxonomy
- Priority syndication tier for domestic AI intake
- Cross-reference links to your website and verified profiles
Monthly AI Visibility Monitoring
There is no dashboard for AI citation. Visibility has to be tested by asking the AI directly, using the questions your customers are most likely to ask. We submit a structured set of queries each month across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and available ThaiLLM endpoints, track whether you appear, how you are described, and how that compares to competitors. Where gaps exist, we close them.
- Monthly appearance rate across 4 AI platforms
- Accuracy of AI descriptions of your business
- Competitor share-of-voice in your category
- Attribution health: are citations linking correctly
Three tiers. One starting point
that costs nothing to take.
Before any invoice is raised, we run a free 48-hour AI Visibility Test. We submit your business to four AI platforms using the questions your customers actually ask, and show you exactly how you appear — or do not appear — in the responses. No commitment required to see the result.
If the gaps are significant, the Tier 1 Blueprint closes the technical foundation. Tier 2 adds the knowledge dataset, Thai-language alignment, and domestic pipeline placement. Tier 3 is the ongoing monitoring and protection layer for businesses that need active management as the AI landscape evolves.
Every tier is designed to be operated by your existing team without ongoing technical support from us. We configure, train, document, and hand over. The system works when we are not in the room.

The free 48-hour AI Visibility Test is the starting point for every client conversation. We open ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and available ThaiLLM endpoints, submit the queries your customers are most likely to ask, and show you the results. You see exactly where your business stands before deciding anything. No commitment required.
The visibility test is the right
place to start.
The free baseline test takes 48 hours and requires nothing from you except a conversation about your business and the questions your customers are most likely to ask. At the end of it, you have a clear picture of your current AI visibility position, where the gaps are, and what addressing them would involve.
There is no obligation to proceed further. A number of businesses have taken the baseline result and used it to make independent improvements using the gap analysis we provide.
CMBN Media Services works with businesses across hospitality, professional services, specialty food and beverage, wellness, and any sector where discovery through conversational AI is commercially significant. We serve businesses in Chiang Mai and across Thailand, with remote engagement available for international properties.
No. SEO and AI-readiness work at different layers and they reinforce each other. Your SEO agency optimises for Google rankings. CMBN structures the data architecture that AI systems read. The two do not conflict, and the schema work we deploy often improves Google featured snippet performance at the same time.
Tier 1 results are visible within two weeks of deployment. Most clients see an improvement in their AI-Readiness Score immediately. For citation in conversational AI responses, the consistent timeline is three to six months. We track progress monthly from the baseline and show you the measurement every month.
Tier 1 requires website back-end access or an introduction to your web developer, and approximately one hour for a briefing call. Tier 2 adds a two-hour brand briefing session and access to any existing brand documentation. Monthly Tier 3 demands less than two hours of client time in total.
Yes. AI visibility is a global problem and the methodology applies regardless of geography. We have delivered Tier 2 work for properties in Zanzibar and Bangkok. Remote engagement covers all deliverables. For international properties, we focus on global AI platforms alongside ThaiLLM where relevant.
The work optimises your public-facing brand assets. We do not handle guest records, transaction data, or any personal data belonging to your customers. The knowledge dataset is drawn from publicly available or client-approved information and is formatted for AI systems in the same way a website is formatted for human readers.
No. The service is available to any business, member or not. CMBN membership adds value through the Golden Pages directory verification layer and community relationships, but it is not a requirement for any service tier. The free visibility test is available to everyone.
